The 13th edition of the Salon de l’Histoire was held on November 27, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Cercle National des Armées, place Saint-Augustin (75008). On this occasion, more than 70 authors of biographies, essays and novels were present for a signing session.
Sponsored by Joachim Murat, Prince of Contecorvo, the History Fair awards the Guesclin Prize, the Gonzague Saint-Bris biography trophy and the Prince Joachim Murat Empire Prize. For this 13th edition, Prince Jjoachim Murat, Philippe du Guesclin and Edouard Saint-Bris were present to present the prizes, as well as the Mayor of the 8th arrondissement, Jeanne d’Hauteserre.
The Guesclin Prize, the Gonzague Saint-Bris Biography Trophy and the Empires Prize are awarded after the meeting of a jury of around fifteen members, made up of writers, historians, journalists, lawyers, museum curators, radio presenters or even editors.
