The Price of the Small estate of the Lilacs was decreed Wednesday, April 11 with the Belgian novelist Odile d‘Oultremont for “the insanities” (the Observatory), a first novel under the sign of Boris Vian, on the nonsense of the world of the company and the power of the love.
The Price of the Small estate of the Lilac, created in 2007 is an exclusively female price the purpose of which is to support the female literature. It rewards a novelist for French language whose work appears with the re–entry of January. The founders decided to institute a different jury invited each year. He gathers society women of arts, letters, press, sciences and of the policy and supplements the permanent office women of letters. The prize winner of this price gains 3,000 euros of equipment, a Mont Blanc pen and a bottle of champagne.
For year 2018.4 nominated found themselves with the second turn:
– Gaëlle Josse, (Black on white) with “a long impatience”.
– Anne Dufourmantelle, (Albin Michel) with “Remember you your future”, novel published on a purely posthumous basis.
– Odile d‘ Oultremont, (editions of the observatory) with “the insanities”
– Isabelle Sivan, (Serge Safran Editeur) with “Dankala”
Last year, the price had been decreed in Oriane Jeancourt Galignani for “Hadamar” (Grasset). This year, the jury, chaired by Amélie Nothomb rewarded Odile d‘Oultremont.
The prize of the Academy of the Lilac, decreed by old sworn Price of the Small estate of the Lilacs, celebrating a woman related to the world of the culture and arts, was awarded to Agnès Varda for the whole of his career. This Price celebrates a Woman related to the world of the culture and arts and honours its radiation and the model which it inspires.
A Price of Lilas Blanc was decreed in tribute to Anne Dufourmantelle for his personality, its talent, the whole of its work and particularly for its last work, “Remember your future” (Albin Michel).
