A week after the interprofessional demonstration against the decline in purchasing power, retirees gathered this Thursday, March 24 at the call of several unions. One of the main demands: 300 euros more per month in the wallet.

CGT, FO UCR, CFTC, CFE-CGC, FSU, Solidaires, Retired civil servants, LSR or Ensemble & Solidaires… Many organizations have things to claim. The purpose of the rally is to fight for the « power of life », a movement focused on three main points: revaluing pensions, pointing the finger at the cost of health and strengthening and humanizing public services, especially in rural areas.

Only fifteen days before the first round of the presidential election, retirees hope to be heard by candidates. Among the demands: 300 euros of immediate increase in pensions, no decline in the retirement age…

Pensioners once again took to the streets on Thursday at the call of nine unions and organizations. They demand a legal retirement age of 60 and a general increase in pensions and pensions. In Marseille, between 700 and 1,000 people marched between Saint-Charles station and the prefecture.

In Nantes where they were between 200 – according to the police – and 600 – according to the unions. Rallies to demand an increase in their pensions at least equal to inflation.

At the call of the unions, the Manchois pensioners gathered, this Tuesday, March 24, at 10:30 a.m. They were 100 in Saint-Lô and 180 in Cherbourg.
