During the last Fashion Week, Grace Moon, designer of Korean origin, presented her newcollection in Paris for the first time.
Who is Grace Moon?
Grace Moon grew up in South Korea where she decided to become an international designer. Its goalwas to inspire young Korean girls to express their creative abilities.
Living in the United States, she moved to London at the age of 19 to study fashion. AsKorean-American, most of her creations combine the values of her roots with amore western expression. In 2019, Grace Moon presented her own designs at Fashion Weeks in Milan, New York, LosAngeles and Las Vegas. Collaborating with Korean high-end jewelry brand, Amore deHelen, she designed and launched a line of fine jewelry: “Golden Cats Collection”. The line ismanufactured in the United States for marketing and sale in Korea.
His collaborations
Grace Moon is the first Korean designer to be fully sponsored internationally bytextile companies, Sintex and Gyeongido Textile Company (GTC). Promote the use ofKorean textiles in its creation during international parades is its pride. She works in closecollaboration with LA branch, GTC LA to prepare trendy fabrics and materials,unique and quality.
After her title of “Best designer 2019 at the FW in Paris, Grace Moon leaves for Bangladesh inas a member of the Face of Asia jury. Spring-Summer 2022 Show in Paris
Coming from Los Angeles, Grace Moon was in Paris on October 6, to present her collectionSpring-Summer 2022. Models, hairdressers, make-up artists and technicians came from Korea.South, USA, Sicily or Bangladesh and France, for the occasion.
Anath Tordjman Compagnon and the GAPME Think-Tank organized a cultural morning aroundpaintings and sculptures by Jean Dolande, Manuel de la Mata, Hyuh Ja Andanson.
Hervé Pouchol presented the event to the guests. Before the parade, Madame Catherine Dumas,senator from Paris, President of the Franco-Korean group in the south, took the floor. Mr. AlainCaradeuc, Secretary General of the Institute of Lights of Paris and Mrs. Annick de Kermadec-Bentzmann, honorary president of the GAPME-Think Tank also intervened.
The parade, “Love Happens” took place at the restaurant “Paillette” (75008) in the presence of manyguests and the press. Backstage, the models were able to benefit from the talent of theCoifFirst for beauty. A parade in 2 bets and many guests
