Los Muñequitos de Matanzas a group of Latin music founded in 1956 in Matanzas by Florencio Calle (composer), Esteban Lantri, Juan Mesa (songs), Ernesto Torriente, Esteban Bacallao, Angel Pellado and Gregorio Diaz (percussions).
The percussionists, singers and dancers of Muñequitos de Matanzas, formed in 1952 by dockers of the town of Matanzas, perpetuate the deep traditions Cuban Negroes of incantation and music of festival. Los Muñequitos de Matanzas are part of the alive legend of the African music in Cuba
Muñequitos de Matanzas is a cuban professional famous group musical of the rumba.
The artists traverse the whole world. The members are now children of its founder members. The group mixed with the public and they danced all together.
The public could dance to the sound of percussions, songs and dance Cuban Negroes at the time of this evening wild and put rhythm into to the sound of the Rumba, Salsa, Maloya and traditional dances.
