  • Super Lord (The world of men’s lingerie).
  • Limited Edition (the young creation)
  • World leader since 1963, it is the unmissable professional meeting place for major international designers in the sector, bringing together lingerie, swimwear, loungewear, homewear and legwear for everyone. There are 2 versions, Winter in January and Summer in July.

Living room trends

The winter 2022-2023 trends were blue, leopard, pine green, honey or terracotta. The materials turned to satin, silk, cotton, wool or modal while the notion of cocooning excluded the step with warm pajamas, flowing pants and long-sleeved tops for more comfort and warmth.

On the other hand, summer 2023 lingerie will turn to bright colors such as pink, orange or purple, but also the timeless white and black. Floral, geometric liberty, gingham or striped patterns will also have their place. The note of summer is characterized by small bows, English embroidery, guipure and lace.

In terms of shapes, it will go from the minimalist nipple cover to the underwired bra, passing by the mini triangle, the bustier or the corset. Concerning the stockings, we return to the strings but also the high panties under transparent pieces.
Opaque tights were the star of this winter, worn even as pants with pumps, they will make way for stockings with or without garter belt, fishnets or neon. Big surprise, the claimed knee-highs, worn with ballerinas.
We are witnessing a strong comeback of the nightgown, to be worn with high-waisted briefs while playing with transparency. Finally, the surprise of the season is the unexpected use of jeans in lingerie (as a bra or a corset to wear as a top).

Designers on the catwalk

This eco-responsible show has capacity, over 3 days, for 26,390 professionals from all over the world, nearly 400 exhibitors, 250 brands and 25 promotion offices abroad. Every day, 3 designers (Lingerie, Cocooning and “The Selection” who present the flagship products of the season) presented parades. It was also possible to participate in conferences to decipher trends and debates, meetings with personal shopper. The young designers were able to highlight their work through the “Podium Jeunes Stylistes”.

A new scenography

The 2023 edition features a brand new scenography, redesigned by Studio Costa-Molinos, already designed for the “Première Classe” show. The aim is to “shake up the codes”, to modernize and to bring “real cohesion between the Salon de la lingerie and Interfilière”, the world’s leading trade show put in touch with buyers and 300 suppliers of lingerie and swimwear fabrics. . The decor is a small town that lives to the rhythm of the living room. The brands are present from the start of the show and for the first time, there is only one Forum to propose trends and materials and provide complete information.

A new approach to the lingerie fashion show marks its evolution thanks to the ATO Agency, which specializes in supporting young designers. The podium is removed to renew the way of scrolling and to favor a real course.

This year, visitors to the Salon de la lingerie were also able to visit the 4 other salons (Who’s Next, Bijorhca, Impact and Interfilière Paris) thanks to their badge.

For men too

The 2023 lingerie show also made it possible to discover novelties in terms of men’s underwear, from briefs to boxer shorts and boxers; For this new season, the designers have bet on lace, fishnet and transparency. We are witnessing a rapprochement of feminine and masculine fashions and a unisex trend with non-gendered underwear.

In 2017, the Swedish designer Bill Heinoven from KÖN, created men’s underwear where you felt good. Gradually, other international brands followed, including GFW (GenderFree World), Tomboy X, which offered unisex briefs and boxers. In addition, we are witnessing an increasingly important presence of the thong.

Lace comes into force in men’s underwear to make it sexier. The HOM brand’s Temptation line offers microfiber boxers, transparent and with various patterns. For its part, Aubade adopts tulle lace, just like Louisa Bracq or Cosabella.
