The grand duke Henri de Luxembourg and his wife Maria Teresa were accommodated with the honors in Paris for a review of the troops to the Invalids, before being escorted in the Elysium by the 140 horses and the 28 motorcyclists of the Republican guard and receipts by Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron.
The Macron couple accommodated this morning the grand duke Henri de Luxembourg and his wife Maria Teresa in the Elysium; it has been the first visit of State in France of a Luxembourg sovereign for 40 years, three days centered on the economy, the large–ducal couple is accompanied by a governmental important delegation, of which the Prime Minister Xavier Bettel who will be received in the Elysium Tuesday morning, and of the businessmen.
In the evening, the ducal large couple was accommodated on the perron of the Elysée palace by Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron for a dinner of State, the second of the five–year period.
Tuesday morning, the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo will receive the couple with the Town hall.
Xavier Bettel will be in his turn received in the Elysium Tuesday morning before a Franco–Luxembourg intergovernmental seminar in Matignon with his counterpart Edouard Philippe.
The Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and nine ministers are displacement just like an economic delegation of about ten Luxembourg entrepreneurs which will go Wednesday to Toulouse to be received with the seat of Airbus where a cooperation agreement will be signed.
62 years old, the grand duke Henri is in charge of Luxembourg since the abdication of his father, the grand duke Jean in 2000. He made his studies in France where it last its baccalaureat. For its part, the liberal Xavier Bettel is Prime Minister since December 2013, succeeding Jean–Claude Junker, who directed the country between 1995 and 2013 before taking the lead in the European Commission.
