A man was shot dead on Monday evening in Paris, in the 11th arrondissement and another four people were slightly injured. A suspect was apprehended by bar patrons, another managed to escape and is being actively sought.
A shooting took place this Monday evening, around 9:35 p.m., in Paris, 29 rue Popincourt, on the terrace of a shisha bar, La petite Escapee in the 11th arrondissement, for only 30 seconds, leaving one dead and four injured. The shots were fired in the direction of customers seated on the terrace.
Two men got out of a car, one with a 9mm pistol, the other with a Kalashnikov, and shot at two other men seated on the terrace. Many chairs were visible on the sidewalk in front of the bar and a security perimeter had been set up by the police.
