PSG wins the Amos Women’s French Cup against AC Milan

The final of the Amos Women’s French Cup 2023 has delivered its verdict, it is the French club PSG who put their name on the list, thanks to a 2-1 success over Milan.

Win this edition of the Amos Women’s French Cup, a prestigious pre-season tournament. In which PSG has already taken part several times without winning. This time, by lining up Fazer, Geyoro, Martens and even Baltimore from the start, the capital club gave itself the means to bring down Milan, its opponent in the final.

From the start of the match, the Parisiennes kept their foot on the ball. Well organized, the Rouge et Bleu applied pressure and created several chances. The first quarter of an hour was largely in favor of the capital’s players. The Milanese, for their part, did not manage to create real opportunities thanks to a solid defense on the Paris Saint-Germain side. After a nice combination in midfield, Lieke Martens unleashed a shot outside the area, stopped by the Rossoneri goalkeeper, but the ball fell to the feet of Sandy Baltimore. The captain of the evening, a surface fox, followed and transformed the try (1-0, 34th)!

Paris created numerous chances, notably with Sakina Karchaoui in its left lane. Karchaoui was inspired and very mobile. His cross for Baltimore, which arrived directly on the head which surprised Giuliani. 2-0 in the 41st minute, things were going smoothly.

At the end of the second period, AC Milan obtained a very well placed free kick. This was shot by Frenchwoman Emelyne Laurent and found the net of Constance Picaud, who entered earlier (2-1, 83rd).
