There were twelve of them. There is only one left. Nadine Benaboud, a 22-year-old from Gers, won the title of Miss Midi-Pyrénées 2023 during an election evening organized on Saturday September 2, at the Château de la Garrigue.

She is 22 years old and is 1m71 tall. Nadine Benaboud was elected Miss Midi-Pyrénées 2023 on Saturday evening in Villemur-sur-Tarn, at the Château de La Garrigue (Haute-Garonne), ahead of Indira Ampiot, reigning Miss France. By winning against eleven other candidates, she succeeds Florence Demortier, representative of the region last year.

She thus earns her place among the young girls who will be able to claim the national title next December. It was Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023, in person, who presented her with her new crown.

Nadine became last night the 5th Miss Gers crowned Miss Midi-Pyrénées during the last decade, a flattering achievement for the department when we know how coveted these titles are.

In life, the pretty brunette is a customer manager in a car dealership. She is passionate about traveling, hiking and winter sports. In her free time, she also likes to work out in a gym, which she goes to regularly.

Born in Tarbes in 2001, of Moroccan origin, the young woman lived in Norway for 7 years due to her parents’ professional assignments. She speaks Norwegian, Swedish, Arabic and of course French. She holds a professional baccalaureate in care and personal services.

The rest of the competition podium

Nadine Benaboud won the crown of Miss Midi-Pyrénées, but she is not alone on the podium. It is completed by Miss Tarn-et-Garonne Blandine Abad, first runner-up, and Miss Toulouse Karen Traore, second runner-up. Miss Ariège Satyne Gomes is at the foot of the podium and takes the third runner-up sash. Finally, the runner-up of Miss Hautes-Pyrénées Amélie Cuvellier is elected fourth runner-up in the regional competition.

In November, Nadine Benaboud will fly to Guyana for the week of preparation for the Miss France 2024 competition, which she will compete on December 16 in Dijon. An election which will be organized under the aegis of the new boss of Miss Cindy Fabre. There is no doubt that a tribute to Geneviève de Fontenay will be paid during the show.

She will not be the first Tarbese to participate in the Miss France election. A Tarbaise has already participated in the national election for Miss France, Myriam Barre as Miss Bigorre. It was in 2005. Last year, Miss Midi-Pyrénées placed 8th in the national competition.

For this he has a little more than three months left to prepare for the final event which will take place on December 16 in front of spectators at the Zénith de Dijon and at the same time in front of millions of television viewers.
