Joanne Shaw Taylor grew in the area of Birmingham in England and started very early to play of the blues. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert Collins and Jimi Hendrix were his sources of inspiration.
Joanne Shaw Taylor is a guitarist and singer of blues. The artist was discovered at the 16 years age by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics group. Dave Stewart had heard it play in 2002 and invited it to join it in order to integrate its group “D.U.P.” for its European round.
Joanne Shaw Taylor left its first album, White Sugar in 2009, and in 2012, the artist is invited to play of the guitar in the group of Annie Lennox at the time of Diamond Jubilee Concert in London.
Joanne Shaw Taylor recorded its fourth album solo “The Dirty Truth” in Memphis, Tennessee with the producer Jim Gaines, left in 2014.
Joanne Shaw Taylor lives between Strait in Michigan and Birmingham in England.
