After two years of absence, the fairs they have resumed their activity abandoned due to the health crisis of covid 19 in 2020.

In France, many fairs take place each year, in various cities and areas

Lyon Fair

Since 1916, the Foire de Lyon – 200,000 visitors – has given pride of place to innovation. Every year in the spring, nearly 800 exhibitors gather at Eurexpo to present their products and services. The two key universes are Home and Shopping.
The 3rd fair in France, which brings together an average of 200,000 visitors, aims to make the hearts of Lyonnais beat faster and promises some new features, in particular a space dedicated to second-hand and vintage, but above all an ephemeral “Little Big Fair” village market designed to meet meeting the expectations of millennials.

Little Big Fair is a whole space dedicated to creators and artists, subtly mixing trendy and Made in France companies, organic cosmetics or even gastronomy dedicated to health with the sole watchword “The innovation “.
The Lyon fair is also and above all two key universes “the house” with furniture, decoration, housing, or household appliances and the “shopping” universe bringing together fashion, sport, hobbies.

The history of Foire de Lyon dates back to the Middle Ages. A place of commerce, meetings and celebrations, the fairs of Lyon took place several times a year and punctuated the economic and social life of the city! The Foire de Lyon is the heir to this tradition. A look back at the history of this commercial event in Lyon which has continued to grow since its contemporary recreation in 1916.

From 1917, La Foire de Lyon hosted 2,320 sheds and wooden stands along the Rhône, between the Tête d’Or park and the guinguettes on the banks, over an area of 36 km²! The first stone of the building and its 24 pavilions was laid on March 3, 1918, the last in 1930.
In 2016, La Foire de Lyon celebrated its 100th anniversary with 212,300 visitors. A place of commerce, of course, the event also stands out as a space for conviviality, exchanges and discoveries.
Since its creation in 1916, La Foire de Lyon has evolved a lot, but it is always keen to highlight innovations!
The Foire de Lyon will return next year in March to Eurexpo Lyon.

Toulouse International Fair

The 89th edition took place this spring from April 9 to 18, 2022. At each edition, more than 500 exhibitors from all imaginable fields sell their products to visitors: home improvement, household appliances, tourism, sport, crafts. A large and modern version for the 89th edition of this unmissable event, which is a cultural and economic marker of the Pink
City.

In the history of the city, the first fairs are held from 1786 – it is above all a trade in wool, fabrics and draperies – the first official Toulouse Fair and marked with this name takes place on Sunday October 14, 1928 with three strong pillars: it is indeed “commercial, industrial, agricultural”.
The Foire de Toulouse, created by a group of personalities from the Pink City – in particular Marcel Roguet, the first president of the fair – takes place in Cours Dillon and is notably inaugurated by Etienne Billières, the mayor at the time in 1925.

The ambition of the elected officials is to “provide their heritage city with an organization intended to give new impetus to its agricultural, industrial and commercial development”. It is then a question of catching up on Paris, Lyon and Bordeaux. Exhibitors then come from the region, from all over France and even from Europe!

The Fair offered to discover the new trends of the moment in terms of fashion, layout or DIY. The big brands are still in the starting blocks to reserve the best locations. The small independents do not want to miss the event either, which represents a significant percentage of their annual turnover. See you next year.

The Paris Fair

Unsurprisingly, the Paris Fair – 500,000 visitors – is at the top of the ranking. It takes place every year over ten days, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The Foire de Paris attracts people from all over France. On the program: exhibition stands from the fashion, housing, art, culture, gastronomy, well-being, leisure and home sectors. Many shows and activities also await visitors, not to mention the Lépine competition and this year, the tropical carnival!

The 2022 Paris Fair is over! For a few days, visitors were able to walk the aisles of the show, in the Versailles exhibition center. Once again, home and living took center stage with many new products and trends to discover. But the Foire de Paris is also about gastronomy, an invitation to travel, fashion, well-being or even the discovery of crafts.

Every year, it’s the perfect opportunity to get inspired by the latest trends in the home world if you have planning, renovation or decoration projects. We look forward to a new meeting in 2023, with new ideas and cutting-edge discoveries.
