The locals respond and the Argentinian recruit Joaquin de la Vega puts the two teams back on level terms (3 – 3, 8th). While the rain is present in Colomiers, Aurillac takes the lead again on a new penalty (3 – 6, 16th).
Ugo Pacome kicks a crossbar on the opposite side for Lescure who serves the Portuguese international Vincent Pinto who only has to flatten before the conversion (10 – 6, 20th). Pacome tries the drop, in vain but Aurillac makes another mistake and de la Vega continues his clean sheet (13 – 6, 31st), completing the score of the first period.
After the locker room, the scenario of the match is the same

Vega put pressure on the visitors (19 – 16, 65th) before Hugo Bastard answers him in the money-time (19 – 19, 75th). Even if it rains, the match is very close, the two teams fight for the victory.
Four minutes later it is Joaquin de la Vega the n° 10 columérin who has the last word (22 – 19, 79th), offering the victory to the Columérins one minute from the end of regulation time.
