French monarchy loses its leader, Henri de France

Henri d‘Orléans, more known under the name of Count de Paris comes to die out at the 85 years age.
The date of the death of the descendant of Philippe Egalité who had voted the death of Louis XVI, contrary to the branch legitimist of the Bourbons, coincides with the date birthday of the execution of Louis XVI. His son, Jean, duke of Vendôme, 53 years old becomes the new applicant with the Throne.

Born on June 14th, 1933 with the manor from Anjou, in Woluwé–Saint–Pierre (Belgium), Henri d‘Orléans, second of a family of 11 children, grew in Morocco, in Spain and in Portugal. Whereas a law had constrained with the exile the royal houses, it was authorized to return to France by Vincent Auriol in order to continue his studies there. After does the Institute of political sciences in Paris, it leave as officer to the war Algeria? leave the army in 1967 and enters the bank to France and Switzerland.

Side private life, it marries Marie–Thérèse de Wurtemberg, of which it will have five children, they separate in 1977 and obtains the divorce in 1984. It remarries with Micaela Cousino Quinones of Leon 9 months later. His/her father disavows it in 1987 because of divorce of his remarriage with a divorced woman and invests his grandson Jean. At 66 years, he becomes chief of the House of France in 1991 after being himself reconciled with his father, is confirmed in 1996;  however the competition between the 2 lines Orleans and Bourbons legitimists persisted. He was father of 5 children, 2 girls (Marie and Blanche d‘Orléans, attack of mental handicap) and 3 boys (François deceased on December 31st, 2017 at the 56 years age; Jean, current claiming in the throne and Eudes).

Henri d‘Orléans was impassioned of painting, it exposed his works since 1972 Another of his passions was the perfume this is why it launched “Lys Bleu” then “Royalissime” (1997).
