Imagine a play by Feydau, full of cute adulteries that will have to be hidden, but with (finally!) A plot and today’s intelligent repartees …
Clémence Baron, the author, also Rose, central character, plays an opportunist wife who uses (very well) her brain to serve her interests.
Rose who cheats on her husband, manipulates him, just like her (real) lover and her (fictitious) lover.
Things get complicated because the 3 men – who forgot to be stupid – are held together, by professional and financial interests.
Intrigues, contracts, projects, lies, get mixed up happily, as in a high-flying thriller.
In principle, each wants to kill the other, but basically, nobody cares, provided that each one’s self-esteem is preserved. Full of gaiety in perspective!
Congratulations to Clémence Baron for having intelligently revisited the theme of Feydau with so much humor and brio.
Fallacia by Clémence Baron at 1:30 p.m. at Sham’s (25 rue Saint-Jean le Vieux Avignon) on July 24, 27, 29, and 31.
