CHRISTMAS AT THE TUILERIES: A CHRISTMAS MARKET AND A FUNFAIR

For entertainment in the capital and for Christmas shopping, the Tuileries Garden is an ideal place during the festive period.

“The magic of Christmas” has been installed every year in the Jardin des Tuileries on around one hectare, since 2018, the year of its creation by Marcel Campion and after its dismissal from the Champs Elysées where it had been performing for 17 years.

The particularity of the Magic of Christmas is to see fairground attractions installed in the middle of chalets offering crafts (santons, decorations…) and snacks (pancakes, mulled wine…). The presence of a large ice rink is to be noted each year.

2022 edition

This year, the Tuileries Christmas Market, also called “Christmas Magic at the Tuileries” takes place from November 19, 2022 to January 8, 2023 and presents French products. In a beautiful Christmas setting, nearly 80 chalets offer visitors good quality artisanal products and a gourmet market with specialties from all over the territory. Young and old alike can enjoy the traditional 1,200 m² ice rink while the children meet Father Christmas with whom they are taken for the souvenir photo, while enjoying the rides. With his reindeer pulling his sleigh in the sky, he appears in front of the amazed children.

A free show, for the whole family, takes place every weekend and every day during school holidays. It is presented by a singer and all the characters from the Magic Forest.

Do not forget a passage by the Big Wheel of 70 meters which offers a magnificent view of Paris.

The Christmas Market is open every day from 11 a.m. to 11:45 p.m., 12:45 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
