“A BOOK TO OFFER!”

There are the critically acclaimed books, those promoted by the Grande Librairie which will, without question, find their place under the Christmas tree and then there are the others, the unknowns, the barefooters of the writing which, despite their talent, does not break through… even though they are worth at least as much if not sometimes more than those placed at the head of the gondola…

Certainly, they do not have the roundness, the “politically correct” obsequiousness of some, but the fact remains that they have talent deep in their hearts. This is the case of Samir DE LUCA, alias “critsarim”, well known in the world of slam where he dragged his spats for a long time…
His book No made in France emerges like an invigorating uppercut that awakens our sleeping consciences.

The story ?

An atypical journey “lived from the inside” but without bad self-pity by Samir, whose real first name is Orpheus, abandoned at birth. This story traces his long wandering from home to home at the end of the 90s, at a time when the atmosphere was far from tender and where you had to know how to stick together to avoid being totally broken by the institution. The author reveals this harsh universe to us through his very keen sense of observation which he knows how to magnificently transcribe through words; these words which form the basis of a saving writing, which allows us to overcome the difficulties of life, to find the strength to move forward by putting words to evils, or at the very least, to tame them, to soothe them …to no longer suffer alone and in silence.

The form of this story? A very personal writing, with particular phrasing, which although it makes academic punctuation flutter, nevertheless always remains poetic and musical.
