The 9th edition of the Made In France (MIF) fair was held from November 11 to 14, 2021, at the exhibition center, Porte de Versailles (75015).
This show was held after the second edition of the Grande Exposition du Made in France at the Elysée on July 3 and 4. On this occasion, 120 companies (out of 2,300) presented numerous “made in France” products, coming from all the departments of France.
A national selection committee, led by the Deputy Minister for Industry, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, chose the companies. She was assisted by Alain Griset, Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, in charge of Small and Medium Enterprises. The 10 other members of the jury were personalities committed to “Made In France” including Fabienne Delahaye, founder and president of MIF Expo and of the “Made In France” fair.
9th edition of the MIF fair
This new edition welcomed 815 exhibitors, some of whom came for the first time. Among the latter were Epéda (COFEL Group), Mako Moulages, Belledone (sneakers), Obut (pétanque balls), Elexia (lemonade), Les Georgettes (jewelry), Renolux (ato and childcare seats), Sauthon (furniture and decoration for babies) and Auer (heat pumps and thermodynamic water heaters). Following the health crisis, it was important to consume locally and responsibly with short circuits and French know-how thanks to relocation and reindustrialisation.
The New Aquitaine region in the spotlight
The show put a region in the spotlight, New Aquitaine. It follows on from Normandy, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Grand-Est.
The Nouvelle Aquitaine region includes 12 departments: Charentes, Charentes maritimes, Corrèze, Creuse, Dordogne, Gironde, Landes, Lot et Garonne, Pyrénées Atlantiques, Deux-Sèvres, Vienne and Haute Vienne). It is the result of the merger of Aquitaine, Poitou-Charentes and Limousin.
New Aquitaine is the largest region in the country. It is the 3rd region in France for the production of wealth and the 5th for business creation. Thanks to its resilience and its territorial challenges, it has risen to the top 3 places in several sectors. It contributes 7% to the national GDP.
The regional pavilion hosted 26 companies among the 74 selected. We noted the presence of the companies Agnelle, Broussaud, Duvivier and Noémie Lenoir by Chamberlan.
The Nouvelle Aquitaine region brings together 3,300 artisans and 10,000 employees. Almost 160 of them have the “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” label.
