Approximately 30,000 South Koreans are descended in the streets from Seoul to denounce the abuses made by evangelic pastors and the Presbyterian ones.
Approximately 100 organizations of the civil society met to call with the dussolution of the Council Chrétien de Corée of the south, known for corruption, its antinationalism and its actions anti–company and social of the religion.
On January 27th, the citizens expressed against the Christian council from Korea to Seoul to denounce the identity of the Presbyterian congregation and to reveal its true image in the church which encouraged the worship of idols, the criminal actions and corruption.
The 100 organizations in Korea including the International commission of the women for the human rights for peace, Christian Association for the national movement anti–corruption, the Committee of youth for human rights IPYG and the Buddhist World summit, staged a “Press conference and a demonstration to call with the closing of the Council Chrétien de Corée; this demonstration had been staged like means to reveal the true nature of the Council Chrétien de Corée to the South Korean president, the government and the press.
During 10 last years there were 12,000 judgments for which the pastors of the Council Chrétien de Corée, were declared guilty of murder, sexual assault, fraud, instructions and information to the parishioners, being able to force a member of his family to accept to take part in a religious meeting and to deprive of freedom a person, so that she turns over to the church.
The Council Chrétien de Corée is responsible for murder while being at the origin of conversion programs forced as it is the case of Ji–in Gu, kidnapped and choked by its family to make profit. It is a nest of false reports which divides the people and plunges the nation in confusion, insistent that such actions on behalf of the Council Chrétien de Corée are a shame for the company but also for the religion.
Other actions of the Council Chrétien de Corée, describing his actions pro–Japanese women in the past, their active implication in policy under the military regime of South Korea when it showed its support to change the Constitution in order to allow 3 consecutive mandates, like the Constitution “Yushin” to allow the power of corruption and to use the money to gain votes at the time as of elections of the president of the Council Chrétien de Corée (what occurred on January 29th) and of achater of the positions, including that of Pasteur.
The Council Chrétien de Corée was in particular shown to only worry about protect its dominant position, producing false reports in answer to the growth of not recorded churches and showing them to be sects, which causes division and confusion within the religious circle.
During the press conference, the representatives of each organization highly criticized the inhuman practices and exhorted the government and President Moon to intervene quickly and to lend the ear to the voice of the people which call with the respect of the law to protect the human rights. They ask the immediate promulgation of a law “to prohibit and punish the conversion programs forced and to put an end to this dictate which oppresses a crowned right which is that of freedom of worship.”
