MA-OUI at Toulouse Fashion Week

As always, the stylist remains timeless, while keeping modernity as her goal. Its goal is to "make clothes that can last, go through the seasons, adapted to the uses of the person who wears them".

This year, Hayet MA-OUI was once again present at Toulouse Fashion Week. She presented her new collection “All eyes on me” on the theme “Wonderland”, on October 2 and 3.

The name of the collection “All eyes on me” comes from a legendary title by the famous rapper Tupac whose creator is a die-hard fan.

This collection consisted of 20 models, made only in 1 month. She represented a “creative and wonderful” world, allowing MA-OUI to express her creativity. On some pieces, we found embroidery in the shape of eyes, key elements of the collection.

Regarding the materials used, we noted the use of rugs as well as other more classic but also rich ones. On the clothes and fishnet tights, we discovered buttons, just like on the helmets worn by the models.

Feedback on MA-OUI’s journey

Hayet MAOUI is a designer, stylist, model maker of Franco / Algerian origin, living in Mulhouse in Alsace (France).
Passionate about fashion, in 2008 she created her brand MA-OUI Créations. Self-taught, she first made outfits combining traditional style and modernity. After training in Algeria, she specializes in gold and silver thread embroidery, which she incorporates into her creations. Passionate, she does not count the hours to realize her creations, made largely by hand. For embroidery.
Inspired by art and endowed with a great imagination, she paints canvases, draws and is passionate about floral art. We find all these trends in the elegance of the outfits she creates.

From now on, as a perfect businesswoman and on the ground, she must manage her creativity and the management of her business. It must ensure the administration as well as the commercial, communication, production, distribution and deliveries.

Collection “All eyes on me!”

For each new collection, the stylist tries to stand out. She tries not to follow the trends, because she thinks “it’s the same as everyone else and it’s always too late.”
His creations are intuitive experiments built on stories, such as a journey or a film script.
The common thread of his “ideas” comes in variations on the cuts, the details of the search for volumes, colors, prints, fabrics and textures … The work of embroidery, by hand, comes next. Each client has a unique model with great know-how.

To present her show, Hayet Maoui chose 16 models: Pascalline Latrasse; Sha Reina; Wyded Fazio; Linsay Fabiola and Camille Sempé; Léa Raïssa; Audrey Laffitte; Laulea Sepulcher and Mina; Helenne Tresalus; Top curvy Universe Sonia Kohler; Celia Campion; Cynthia Pallandre and Emma Rapharin; Anne Laure and Alba de Rosa.
