– End of globalization?
Arnaud Montebourg spoke about the globalization he denounces. Unemployment in France, the return of a quasi-slavery in many countries … social but also dramatic ecological consequences. The former Minister of Productive Recovery advocates a strong state, strictly controlling finance, with rules for environmental protection and social and health standards.
“The Battle of Made in France, this is the title of the book he published in 2013 to define the stakes of this policy and make it a national cause.
After the honey “Blue White Beehive” and almonds, Arnaud Montebourg will launch in 2020 a brand of organic ice, natural and without additives, in association with milk producers that he plans to better pay.
“Consume local”! We are now talking about “locavore” for food.
It is a person who consumes food produced, processed and packaged close to home. The short circuit is a supply zone that must not exceed 50 km, for the Ile-de-France, 200 km. There must not be more than one intermediary between the producer and the consumer.
45% of French people say they consume locally, to have fresh produce, to preserve their health and the environment and to support farmers in their region.
Restaurants, canteens and supermarkets are setting themselves up to these new modes of consumption.
The Salon du Made in France is a showcase for the French regions showing their dynamism, their creativity and the excellence of their products.
