The rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré launched its Christmas illuminations for its traditional Winter Time. This event, organized by the Faubourg Saint-Honoré Committee, combines magic and solidarity with a prestigious raffle for the benefit of the Princesse Margot association, which supports children with cancer and their families.
This year, two emblematic female figures supported the event. Emmanuelle Béart, patron of Winter Time, actress recognized for her notable roles in Manon des Sources or 8 femmes, and several times nominated for the Césars, and Amandine Petit, patron of the Princesse Margot association, Miss France 2021 and entrepreneur. « I am delighted and very honored to participate in this 2024 edition, a magical moment in the service of a great cause, » she said. Very moved, she personally presented a check for 3,000 euros to the association.
The president Benjamin Cymerman of the committee and the association, surrounded by the actress Emmanuelle Béart and Miss France 2021, Amandine Petit, as well as several public figures, the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo and the mayor of the 8th arrondissement Jeanne d’Hauteserre, launched the Christmas lights together! At the corner of rue Royale and rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré.
Like last year, you will discover the latest decorations in the neighborhood, giant and eco-responsible structures (low-energy LEDs, recyclable decor, etc.).
From November 26 to January 15, passers-by will be able to admire the illuminations of this iconic street, while participating in a glamorous digital raffle. For 10 euros per ticket, participants will try their luck at winning prizes offered by 43 major luxury brands. Prada, Longchamp or Chanel bags, nights in luxury hotels or beauty products are among the prizes offered. All profits will be donated to Princesse Margot, thus strengthening the spirit of solidarity during the holidays.
Founded in 2012 by Muriel Hattab in memory of her daughter Margot, the association helps children with cancer and their families, in partnership with five hospitals in Île-de-France. « Our vocation is to reduce the psychosocial after-effects caused by the disease and to raise awareness of the values of solidarity, » explains the founder, winner of the 2016 Clarins Femme de Cœur Prize. Since its creation, Princesse Margot has supported more than 1,000 families and financed innovative projects in pediatric oncology.
