Colomiers delivered an outstanding attacking performance on Friday night, defeating Carcassonne 59-28 during Round 27 of the Pro D2 championship at Stade Michel-Bendichou.
The match featured a dominant start, a brief comeback attempt from Carcassonne, and a controlled second half that sealed a convincing bonus-point victory for the home side.
A flying start from Colomiers
The home team wasted no time setting the pace. Timu opened the scoring early, followed by precise kicking from Delpy and a try from Danglot.
Within just 22 minutes, Colomiers had already built a commanding 31-0 lead, showcasing an impressive level of efficiency and attacking organization.
Carcassonne fights back
Despite being overwhelmed early on, Carcassonne managed to respond. Tries from Railevu and Oulai before halftime reduced the gap to 31-14, giving the visitors renewed hope.
Their momentum continued briefly into the second half with a try from Boubila, bringing the score closer.
Colomiers regains full control
However, Colomiers quickly reasserted their dominance. Nu’u and Tuitavuki both crossed the line, while Danglot delivered a standout moment with a long interception try.
Tuitavuki added a second try later in the match, effectively ending any hopes of a comeback.

This victory strengthens Colomiers’ position in the upper part of the table and confirms their playoff ambitions.
