The evening began with an individual presentation and an interview with each candidate, then with a speech by Hannah Friconnet, Miss Midi-Pyrénées 2021 and Mélissa Dzafic, Miss Tarn-et-Garonne 2021.

12 candidates for miss Tarn-et-Garonne 2022

This year, 12 candidates fought to win the prestigious title and thus succeed Mélisa Dzafic, miss Tarn-et-Garonne 2021.

As each competition has its rules, the candidates had to meet certain criteria. They had to be over 18, measure at least 1m70 and of course, reside in Tarn-et-Garonne. After several selections, twelve title contenders have the chance to compete to receive the precious sesame.

The competitors then marched in town dress, evening dress, beach dress, and finally in wedding dress.

Many activities punctuated the evening. Singer Céline Lenfant offered musical interludes followed by a demonstration by the association Pôle danse Marion Chiotasso.

The public as well as the jury chaired by Khalid Laabid, municipal councilor, composed of seven members, delivered their verdict.

– 2nd runner-up: Lilou Camalet, 18, from Montech;
– 1st runner-up: Mélody Lo Wing, 31, from Réalville;
– the queen of the evening elected Miss Tarn-et-Garonne 2022: Léna Diagne, 21, domiciled in Labastide-Saint-Pierre.

To decide between them, the role was extremely difficult for the jury and the public, designating the replacement for Mélissa Dzafic, winner of last year, have chosen Léna DIAGNE, as well as her runner-up Mélody Lo WING, who is trying to win the scarf of Miss Midi-Pyrénées 2022.

Léna and Mélody will go to the Château de la Garrigue in Villemur-sur-Tarn (Haute-Garonne) on September 3. They will compete for the title of Miss Midi-Pyrénées which would allow them to defend the colors of the region during the election of Miss France in December.
