Fine dishes and great vintages
The 9th edition of the Gastronomic Petanque Trophy was held from June 25 to 29, 2023 During this evening, the guests who had responded to the invitation of former sports journalist Daniel Lauclair, were able to participate in petanque tournaments and enjoy delicious delicacies such as oysters from St Vaast la Hougue, savory and sweet macaroons from Clos Deville, smoked ham or even mini hamburgers. It was also an opportunity to discover great vintages and cocktails, in particular based on Golden 8 liqueur with aromas of vanilla, caramel and pear brandy, not to mention the traditional pastis and champagne for lovers of bubbles. For amateurs, cigars from Boutique 22, which has more than 200 references, were offered.
Prestigious guests
After a few games with his friend Jean-Pierre Castaldi, Daniel Lauclair joined his other guests, including the presenter of “Sept à Huit”, Harry Roselmack, the actor Patrick Chesnais or the politician Jean-Louis Debré. Other stars were present on the ground like nicoletta and her husband Jean-Christophe Molinier, singer Julie Pietri, actresses Elisa Servier, Corine Touzet, presenter Tex who came with the family, actors Fabrice Deville and Martin Lamotte or even Vincent Desagnat and the publisher Michel Lafon.
What is the Gastronomic Petanque Trophy?
The first edition of the Gourmet Pétanque Trophy took place at the end of June 2013 on the quays of the Seine, at the Paris Yacht Marina, port of Grenelle. Conviviality and festivity were on the agenda for this gastronomic encounter. A host of starred chefs and MOFs were present for this event. There were Michel Roth (chef of the Ritz), Jacques Ledivellec, Guillaume Gomez (President of the cooks of the Republic and Toque of the year 2014, Pascal Griere (head of the Senate, Manuel Martinez (Relais Louis XIII), Jean-Pierre Cassagne ( Closerie des Lilas), Bernard Mure-Ravaud (world cheese champion), Laetitia Gaborit and Xavier Thuret (best MOFs). the event returns thanks to its instigator, Daniel Lauclair, and his friends.
