The Crimea: Carnage in a college at least 17 deaths by balls and more than 40 wounded

According to the local authorities, more than 40 people were wounded and at least 17 deaths by balls, where the author of the attack is a pupil of the establishment which committed suicide.

A pupil of the technical school of Kertch killed nearly 20 of his comrades and wounded about fifty others before committing suicide.

According to the Prime Minister for the peninsula, Sergueï Aksionov, the author of the attack committed suicide. It is a pupil of fourth year of this establishment. The body was discovered in the library, he declared with the Russian TV channel Rossiya 24.

The antiterrorist Russian national committee added that its body had been found inside the high school, brings back the agency Heap.

A bomb which contained metal fragments initially exploded in the cafeteria of the high school, before the shootings burst.

According to Olga Grebennikova, the director of the establishment, there were several attackers, which the antiterrorist national committee did not exclude. Russian president Vladimir Poutine presented in an official statement his condolences to the close relations of the victims. Vladimir Poutine is Wednesday in Sotchi, a seaside resort of the Black Sea, where it receives Egyptian president Abdel Fattah alSissi.

The Russian Minister for Defense, Sergueï Choïgou, announced that reinforcements were sent, as well as equipment to come to help for victims.
