Today in Paris and in the major cities of France and the world, finding surface parking without difficulty is a real obstacle course. The solution to the problem is the Win Time Parking mobile application.

What is Win Time Parking?

Win Time Parking is a mobile application that connects motorists looking for a surface parking space in an urban environment. It uses a real-time geolocation system and an integrated GPS.

The application is filed with the INPI for Europe, China, the United States, India and Japan. Its use brings many advantages such as saving time, saving energy by avoiding turning to find a place, and money by avoiding paying the pound but also by reducing pollution.

It was in 2018 that Ali Zehar had the idea of creating this application, when he was looking for a place near the Place des Victoires in Paris. After this long and unsuccessful search, this former real estate expert advisor decided to create a way to organize a collaborative parking sharing system between citizens of the same city, residents or tourists. A solution of this kind was already used for underground car parks. However, there are people who hate parking in the basement for fear of theft or aggression.

How it works?

By creating an application between drivers, it is easier to park on the surface because you can find a space in less than 5 minutes, thus avoiding turning for 30 or 45 minutes and wasting fuel.

Thanks to this time saving, the increase in air pollution linked to the carbon footprint is avoided. Less greenhouse gas released into the atmosphere leads to a reduction in respiratory pathologies.

To use this free app is very easy, just:

1- Download the Win Time Parking application (IOS or Android application);
2- Fill in his profile, the brand and the color of his vehicle, at the time of registration;
3- Select the option: “I am looking for a place” or “I am freeing up a place”;
4- Follow the instructions on the laptop screen.

The various features of the application allow giving details such as:

*Account access and forgotten password;
* Connect "applicant and liberator" by push notifications;
*Integrate a route with the APIs (programming interfaces) of HereMaps to head towards the freed place;
*Search by zone and by type of place (places for the disabled, for example)
*Free up his place.

A point system linked to operation

The application works according to a points system, For each use (reservation or release of space), the user obtains:

*3 points when he frees up a place;
*1 point when looking for a place.

In the event that several users are looking for the same place in the chosen sector, the application will allocate it to the one with the most points.

Clicking on the “I confirm the exchange” button, once the place has been exchanged, allows you to earn points.

A free app

The app is currently free. In the future, a micro-subscription system or contextualized advertisements like Waze are envisaged. The stopped user will receive a geolocated advertisement

In conclusion, choosing Win Time Parking means:

*Choose collaborative parking;
*Avoid inconvenient parking: The removal of a car by the impound takes only 3 to 4 minutes and costs 280€ of impound fees in addition to a fine linked to the infringement;
*Do not increase pollution when we know that 60.7% of total CO2 emissions are due to road transport in Europe;
*Save time since you lose up to 30 minutes a week to park your car, i.e. 1 day a year or 2 and a half months of a lifetime (Harris study for the company Ector).

So motorists, don’t hesitate any longer, make a gesture for the planet, join the users of Win Time Parking and become ambassadors of the application by spreading the information as much as possible around you or on social networks.
