EXPO FRANCHISE RETURNS TO PORTE DE VERSAILLES IN PARIS

The 40th edition of the franchise fair, Franchise Expo Paris was held at Porte de Versailles from March 20 to 23, 2022, after a cancellation in 2020 and an exceptional version in September 2021.

The 40th edition of the franchise fair, Franchise Expo Paris was held at Porte de Versailles from March 20 to 23, 2022, after a cancellation in 2020 and an exceptional version in September 2021.

Franchise Expo Paris, the largest franchise exhibition in the world, is aimed at all those who wish to undertake, open a business or invest. This year, they were able to move and exchange live after these 2 years of travel and gathering restrictions.

European number 1 in the field of franchising, Franchise Expo Paris was created by the FFF (French Franchise Federation). This show, every year since its creation, a privileged platform between business creators and traders with major French and international brands. It is the possibility for foreign companies to establish themselves in France and for foreign visitors to learn a new concept.

The show helps to develop networks in France and internationally, thanks to the sectors of activity it touches: Catering & Hospitality, Trade & Food Distribution, Shops
specialists, Beauty, Health, Fitness, Fashion, Personal equipment, Home decoration and equipment, Services for individuals and businesses.

The 2022 edition

Over 4 days, visitors were able to take part in around a hundred workshops and conferences. on 4 themes (Business Creation, Franchise School, Franchise Workshops and Future Franchisor Workshops). It was an opportunity to discuss with franchisors and franchisees and 26 experts from the college of experts of the FFF present to advise them.

The show brought together 470 exhibitors of 15 nationalities, including 95 new brands and nearly 25,000 visitors. In addition, 12 sectors represented 90 activities, 9 cities and territories were present, as were 10 funding organizations and 40 specialists in business creation support, including media and institutions.

This year again, the show is also available in a digital version with Franchise Expo Online. The online platform was accessible by videoconference during the show and after the show to allow exhibitors and visitors to present themselves or find the most suitable partner.

Prizes awarded at the show

Franchise Revelations Award

It was awarded during the show’s inauguration cocktail party on March 20. This competition, created 20 years ago, rewards young networks that are as innovative as they are creative. The winner is the Pokawa fast food chain.

Prize of the Big Retail Competition

In partnership with Franchise Expo, the Big Retail Competition prize, organized by the BIG agency, helps to develop the visibility and reputation of 5 French brands with an advertising campaign budget of 580,000 euros to be won. The winner is the family business Ecomiam, the first ethical and accessible frozen food distribution network.

Franchise As of Hearts Award

This prize rewards franchisors, franchisees, networks, experts or franchise service providers who have shown solidarity inside or outside their network. The winners are Carrefour Belgium for its action to help the victims of the floods in July 2021 and the APEF for its help to women victims of domestic violence..

50th anniversary of the FFF

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the FFF offered entertainment on its stand at the franchise fair. It had also organized an evening event on June 16, 2021 at the Musée des Arts Forains, supported by Banque Populaire and Macif, partners of franchisors and franchisees.
