Blagnac Rugby Féminin beat Stade Toulousain Féminin with a very small score that allowed them to reach the final.
To find out which teams qualified for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France Féminine, we had to wait until the last day. And during this day, the Stade Toulousain moved on the lawn of Blagnac Rugby and even won. This victory therefore allowed Toulouse to secure a semi-final at home, and against Blagnac Rugby Féminin once again. The two teams faced each other twice in a row, but this time the challenge of this match allowed access to the final for the Blagnacaises.
This poster of the final stages also evoked some memories. The two teams were already in the final of the French Championship last season. A well-known opposition and an expected shock therefore: “The teams raise their level even more in this match. That’s what makes the beauty of this derby. A meeting all the more special since it was not played on any ground.
The Blagnacaises dominated the first half, but the Toulouse defense held on. It is the third penalty of this match which will open the scoring, on the Blagnac Rugby Féminin side.
The Caouecs will therefore meet the wolves of AC Bobigny 93 next weekend, in the final of the Coupe de France Elite 1. As for them, the Stadistes will oppose the Bordelaises, for a return match on Saturday 13 May. This will be their last day of the championship in the regular phase.
