This Sunday, May 18th, the camera flashes blared on the Croisette for the highly anticipated red carpet premiere of The Phoenician Scheme.
Presented in competition, The Phoenician Scheme, the new feature film by American director Wes Anderson, is undoubtedly one of the major events of this Sunday, May 18th. It is, without a doubt, the film of the day at the Cannes Film Festival.
Director Wes Anderson propels his cast (Benicio del Toro, Tom Hanks, Bill Murray, Mia Threapleton) into the race for the Palme d’Or at Cannes this Sunday, May 18th.
The official presentation of the film attracted an impressive array of celebrities, starting with the radiant Thalia Besson, daughter of Luc Besson, who lit up the Croisette. Charlotte Le Bon opted for a bold black outfit, oscillating between pure elegance and fashion boldness, while Eva Longoria, a regular at the event, set the camera flashing with her usual glamour. Halle Berry also made a splash in a floral suit, as did Laurent Lafitte, master of ceremonies at the Festival’s opening.
For this red carpet event, French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati was present with a delegation of European filmmakers, including French director Claude Lelouch and French-Greek director Costa-Gavras. She greeted the team of The Phoenician Scheme.
