This 19th edition took place from June 21 to 27 with the presence of many personalities from the world of Cinema and Television at the Palais des Congrès du Cap d'Agde Méditerranée.

“Les Hérault du Cinéma et de la Télévision” allowed the public to see and discover screenings of previews, series and fiction as well as “M’acteurs classes”.

Patrick Jorge and Michel La Rosa introduced the film crews present each evening and awarded the Césarion (People’s Prize) to members of the 7th art.

The Caesarion is a bronze statuette, a reproduction of the statue of the « Cesarion »* exhibited at the Musée de l’Éphèbe in Cap d’Agde. This statuette rewards thanks to the support of the Occitanie region and partners, the films, the actors most appreciated by the public of the year.

Emmanuel Courcol, director came to present his feature film « A Triumph » with David Ayala, Lamine Cissokho, Wabinlé Nabié, Alexandre Medvedev, Said Benchnafa and Kad Mérad (absent due to filming).

Alexander Medvedev played and sang an extremely moving guitar solo.

Emmanuel Courcol received a Césarion and the actors received a small Césarion. They all left to express their joy on stage.

Among the guests who came to walk the Red Carpet, the public was able to discover Emmanuel Courcol, his wife and David Ayala, Lamine Cissokho, Wabinlé Nabié, Alexandre Medvedev, Said Benchnafa, the actors of « A triumph ».

Olivier Mégaton, Bruno Moynot, Ludovic Berthillot, Antoine Coesens, Khaled Alouach and Rebecca Benhamour from “Here everything begins” were invited. Géraldine Lapalus, Séverine Ferrier, cellist Adrien Frasse-Sombet, Fabrice Maruca, Richard Roulet, Patrick Lapeyrie, Karine Ventalon, Saida Jawad, Vincent Azé, Moussa Maaskri, Firmine Richard, Hector Langevin from “Tomorrow belongs to us”, Daouda Keita, Rebecca Hampton, Frédéric Bouraly, Philippe Caroit; All of them came to walk the Red Carpet.

Martin Lamotte and his companion as well as Gérard Klein came to greet the public and make selfies and dedications.

Alice Carel played the role of Pierre Santini’s daughter in Frédéric Cerulli’s film « Envol ».
Jean-Marc Barr was present to the delight of moviegoers. The actor, director is rare in France. The public gave him a splendid ovation.

The public had the opportunity to enjoy this friendly festival where many films from diverse and varied backgrounds were screened.
