David Fortems releases his first novel

Pascal his father, a modest worker, is destroyed. « How to survive the death of a child who has chosen to lose his own life. » Because « Little Louis, was not killed. He committed suicide! However, he and his son led a simple life together, but quiet since his mother Nathalie decided to leave them when Louis was four years old, claiming that she was unable to raise him.

A message received on Louis’ found laptop will stir Pascal’s curiosity. A few words make him realize that he was far from knowing who his son was. He thought he was reserved and studious; facades to hide his real « Louis »; a puzzle that he has to rebuild. And there, it is the most total amazement. Each of his discoveries is a heartbreaker. In turn, he learns that his son was homosexual HIV positive, dealer, but not drugged and porn actor selling his « accessory » of body on the net. The truth is like a bomb. Pascal feels guilty for not paying more attention to him. If he hadn’t failed in his fatherly duties, he should have recognized the signs and seen the loneliness that overwhelmed him. Today, Louis seems to him a total stranger. « He missed whole parts of his life while they were there before his eyes. Was he so blind or in denial? Either way, the picture is unstoppable. He knew little and so little about his son. For lack of communication, he was not there for « Louis », when he was in the greatest distress!
