IMPACT EUROPEAN is an independent media outlet supported by a French non-profit association under the 1901 law.
Since its creation, our platform has provided free access to articles, reports, investigations, photos and analysis on French, European and international news.
We are not backed by a major media group, shareholders or political interests. Our independence relies on the commitment of journalists, photographers and contributors working in the field.
Today, most of the costs are covered by our own team: website hosting, cybersecurity, backups, technical maintenance, travel expenses, photo and video equipment, reports and investigations.
The technical operation of our three websites costs more than €4,000 per year. A single reporting trip can cost between €100 and €1,000, while covering a major event such as the Cannes Film Festival can cost between €3,000 and €5,000.
