Launching of the program Volunteers of the Female World cup of the FIFA

The program Volunteers of the Female World cup of the FIFA was revealed this Monday after midday places Town hall at Paris by Jean–François Martins, the assistant of the mayor of Paris in charge of the sports, tourism, the Olympic and paralympic Games in the presence of Brigitte Henniques, deputy vice–president of the FF and vice–president of the Local Steering Committee. They revealed the entirety of the program.

The program Volunteers of the Female World cup gives the opportunity of taking part in this international event to 2,500 people in one of the forty missions of the 14 sectors suggested such as the ticket office, the marketing or the reception of the public.

To take part in this program, it is necessary to be old of more than 18 years to March 1st, 2019, to be justified and available at least the days of match like at the time of the day of formation. Paris research project 350 voluntary Parisian or not, bilingual or not and of indifferent sex. It is not necessary to be tested or fan of football. Young people and less young will be accepted.

The competition will proceed from June 7th to July 7th, 2019; the town of Paris will accommodate 7 matches of the competition of which opening ceremony and the inaugural match with the French team, a eighth of finale and a quarterfinal.

The competition engages 24 teams in 52 MATCHES and will proceed in France in 9 big cities hosts (Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris, Rheims, Rennes and Valencians. For the voluntary ones, the slogan is suitable: “For you, it is the moment to shine” because they will be the first contacts with the spectators.

The program of the Volunteers understand 5 stages from May 2018 to July 2019:
– Launching and recruitment from May to December 2018. Meeting with one of the members of the team of the program on one of the sites for the selected candidates.
– Gathering in each city for a time of exchange in March 2019.  The number of the volunteers varies according to the capacity of the stage and the needs for the organization. Here figures according to the cities (Grenoble (5matchs): 250; Le Havre (7 matches): 250; Lyon (5 matches): 350; Montpellier (5 matches): 250; Nice (6 matches): 300; Paris (7 matches): 350; Rennes (7 matches): 250; Rheims (6 matches): 250; Valencians (6 matches): 250).
– General and specific training starting from May 2019.
– Mobilization on 13 fields during the World cup from June 7th to July 7th, 2019, variable availability according to nature of the mission.
– A ceremony of thanks will take place on each site to thank the volunteers.
