The Salon du chocolat is held from October 30 to November 3 and the opening parade caused a sensation as every year.

This new edition will have the theme “Chocolate over time”, and promises to delight the taste buds.

For five days, the public will be able to meet the players in the chocolate and cocoa industry as part of the Salon du chocolat 2024. Chocolatiers, pastry chefs, confectioners, cocoa producers, major brands, food bloggers, all came to share their passion for chocolate.

A B to B Village will also allow the public to discover the technological and material innovations of the sector. The show will allow professionals to meet and exchange. Cocoa producers, pastry chefs, ice cream makers, confectioners… All will be present. It will also be possible to discover the know-how of forty countries and their different cocoas, through 250 exhibitors.

Among the highlights of the Show, meetings with renowned chefs, but also competitions such as the National Trophy of French Pastry and Chocolate. The best artisans in the world will be present for five days at the show, including Saudi Arabia, as the Country of Honor. For the occasion, a chocolate piece imagined by Budour Al Aqidi, Saudi designer, and Jean-Luc Decluzeau, master chocolatier, will be presented.

The inauguration of the 29th edition of the Paris Chocolate Show took place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. This gourmet and solidarity evening took place in favor of the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association, which allows children with heart defects to be operated on when this is impossible in their country due to lack of technical or financial means. The VIPs paraded on the podium of the Cacao Show with the creations of the 2024 edition and the least we can say is that it was grandiose.

This year Christophe Licata compensated with an outfit that gave the impression that he came straight from the court of Louis XIV. The dancer wore a brown suit, to stay in the theme, with a hat that gave him an extra charm. Another Miss also created a surprise and it is Julie Dupont, elected Miss Île-de-France 2024. Aged 26, the pretty journalist by profession, paraded proudly on the stage of the Porte de Versailles.

Julie Dupont will participate in the election of Miss France 2025 on December 14 at the Futuroscope in Poitiers, for the 95th edition of the famous competition.

For this new edition, the Salon du Chocolat expects around 90000 visitors.
