Elite 1 is the first division of the French women’s rugby championship. This annual competition brings together the best women’s rugby teams in France.
After almost four months of hiatus, the Elite 1 Women’s championship resumed and the Stade Toulousain team won every match played, remaining first in the standings.
In the first quarter of an hour, Bordeaux were enterprising although harmless. The temporary exclusion of Khalfaoui unleashed a Stade Toulousain which, from then on, besieged the Girondines camp deprived of the ball. If Toulouse then took off before the break with fifteen points scored, the visitors tried to limit the damage while trying to take advantage of it to recover in front of their opponents, but without success.
Number 1 in its group and number 2 nationally just behind Montpellier, Stade Toulousain comes out a little bigger from a catch-up session which did not really speak its name as its performance was so convincing. From there to consider that the Capitol becomes the seat of the capital of women’s rugby, in a few months see the results after each match.
The match ended in favor of Stade Toulousain (27-0) at Stade Ernest Wallon. Bordeaux has a chance in front of AS Bayonnaise to recover in next week’s match on March 7, 2021. Stade Toulousain will play against ASM Romagnat Rugby Féminin, second in the group 2 standings and beaten 2 years in a row.
