The story of 30 days max

SYNOPSIS:

Rayage is a cowardly and clumsy young cop who is constantly mocked by other police officers. The day his doctor falsely tells him that he has only thirty days to live, he realizes that this is his last chance to become a hero in his police station and impress his colleague Stéphanie. The fearful eternal turns into a real hothead who will take all the risks to catch a big drug kingpin …

Tarek Boudali, the cowardly and awkward young cop (Rayage), during the filming he had two scenes where he managed to get hurt:

Only one injury, and in one so-called easy scene !, and my fault, on top of that, when I jump off the chair and sprawl on the desk. The stunt manager asked me to put on my protection, but we were in the speed and I did not see the danger.
And I hurt myself. Crossing the window, too: I was stopped dead by the exterior facade, and I made a big bruise on my thigh.
What would you do if you only had 30 days to live?

The basic idea is the question everyone has asked themselves at one point or another: what would I do if I had thirty days to live? I wanted to make a comedy out of the answer, with the comedic trigger that the condemned character realizes that he is no longer condemned …

But in the meantime, he had to do crazy things, having nothing to lose, and making it impossible for him to stop the gear. And the job where you take a lot of risks is obviously a police officer. From there, the action flick naturally stuck with the comedy.

But so much! It seems fitting to say it, but no kidding, without this team nothing would have been possible. It’s because of them that this movie is what it is. Vincent Richard, chef-op on NICKY LARSON AND THE PERFUME OF CUPIDON, assured. But also my first assistant Amin Harfouch, my script Marie Maurin…

I was really well surrounded. Despite the overtaking, the weather at night, not one bitched or slowed down. No one has ever yelled! On a shoot, even when things are going well, there are always small tensions from time to time, with fatigue, all that… But there, nothing. It’s just amazing.

Which scene from the film do you prefer?

Tarek Boudali: « I particularly liked shooting the sequences on a motorcycle, shirtless, in December, when it was two degrees in Paris! «

Was the film a physical challenge for you?

Tarek Boudali: “It was a challenge on many levels. It’s a tough movie, so I had to muscle up a bit for the different scenes. There were also a lot of stunts and I do them myself, because I find that it brings more to the script. It was complicated, physical, we shot from September to December, it was raining, it was cold. The electro conductor told me something that struck me, he said that he had toured with Belmondo and now Tarik Boudali. It moved me ».

Why go see the movie?

Tarek Boudali: “I want to make people laugh. That’s what I like most about cinema and besides, it feels good right now. I also hope people will buy into the message. In this period of health crisis that never seems to want to end: bringing spectators into cinemas. «
