The Trianon in Paris hosted the French Television Producer Prize ceremony on February 8 at 7:30 p.m. on the initiative of PROCIREP, responsible for the defense and representation of French producers.
Among the 15 companies competing for this edition, MIYU PRODUCTION was the winner in the Animation category, BROTHER FILMS in the Documentary category and BLACK SHEEP FILMS in the Fiction category. Thanks to these awards, producers are honored by the most dynamic companies.
The Unifrance Audiovisual Export Prizes were awarded at the same ceremony.
The French Television Producer Prize
In 1994, the Television Commission of Procirep, a company that manages rights and helps film and audiovisual production, created the French Television Producer Prize to promote the profession of audiovisual producer and help raise awareness of television creation.
The 27th edition
The 2022 edition brought together more than 600 professionals. Around the President, the actor, director Charles Berling, the jury was composed of Cyrille Perez (Producer, 13 Productions and President of the Television Commission of Procirep); Félicie Roblin (Producer – Zadig Productions and Vice-President of the Procirep Television Commission); Anne-Claire Lehembre (Writer-Animation Director); Barbara Necek (Author-Documentary Director); Arnaud Malherbe (Writer-Director Fiction); Annick Teninge (Director of the Poudrière school in Valence); Rebecca Houzel (Co-president of the Association Les Amis du Cinéma du Réel); Frédéric Lavigne (Artistic director of the Series Mania festival); Catherine Alvaresse (Director of the Documentary Unit of France Télévisions); Coralie Boitrelle-Laigle (Director of Programs for the M6 Group’s youth channels); Emmanuelle Jouanole (Distributor – Terranoa); Barbara Letellier (Producer – Haut et Court and 2020 fiction winner); Priscilla Bertin (Producer – Silex Films and 2020 animation winner), Patrick Winocour (Producer – Quark Productions and 2020 documentary winner).

Miyu Productions
2022 French Television Producer Award in the animation category.
In 2009, Emmanuel-Alain-Raynal founded the production company Miyu Production, specializing in animation, short and feature films. The company also favors artistically committed projects. Several of his animated shorts have been noticed and awarded. Today, the company constantly develops nearly twenty short films, half of which are international. Since 2015, it has been co-directed by Pierre Baussaron.
Among the productions, we note: “Le Parfum d’Irak, by Feurat Alani and Léonard Cohen for Arte; the 2 feature films, Saules Aveugles and Femme Endormie, by Pierre Földes, intended for an adult audience; the pre-school series Patouille, by Ines Bernard Espina, Clémentine Campos and Mélodie Boulissière, with France Télévision, produced entirely in oil pastel on paper; the Claudy series by Luce Cote-Colisson and Lucie Rouxel (52 episodes) with France Télévisions.
For animation executive production, she has worked on Biarritz Surf Gang (Cassidy for Studio+), Les Mysteries de Paris (La Curieuse, Amopix for France 3) and La Révolution Française (Nilaya Productions for France 2), Les Damnés de la commune (Cinétévé, 90′ for Arte) and Napoleon, destiny and death (Tournez S’il Vous Plaît for Arte). She also signed on to executive produce the first season of Elliott From Earth for Cartoon Network. Most of his projects took place in his Parisian studio. The studio in Valence, within the Cartoucherie and that of Angoulême in 2016 then in Arles in 2019. have contributed to its development. To date, there are nearly 130 animation positions on the 4 sites.

2022 French Television Producer Award in the Documentary category
For fifteen years, Brother Films has been working with the main French and foreign distributors. Major documentary festivals have distinguished his productions in France (FIPA d’or 2014 for Chante ton bac d’abord by David André) and abroad (Albert London Prize for best audiovisual documentary for On the line, America, by Leo Mattei and Alex Gohari; Hecho en México Prize for DocsMx in Mexico; Farel Prize for Best Feature Film 2021 in Switzerland…).
Black Sheep Movies
In 2016, Augustin Bernard and Mathieu Van de Velde created Black Sheep Films, an independent production company oriented towards audiovisual fiction, specializing in the development and production of short formats initiated in France by Studio+ and Blackpills.
In France and abroad, the company offers series on unexplored subjects with little-seen characters on screen, original narrations and innovative stagings.
