The Sheffield Eagles lost in the south of France on Saturday evening against Toulouse Olympique at the Ernest-Wallon stadium 32 to 12.
Both teams were looking to get back to winning ways in the championship after losing their last three respective outings.
Toulouse brilliantly got back to winning ways against Sheffield 32 to 12 this Saturday. A success that confirms them in second place.

Jake Shorrocks’ 14th-minute penalty opened up the scoreboard, before Paul Ulberg recovered a kick from the last tackle to score just two minutes later.
Two successful kicks from Cory Aston gave Sheffield an 8-12 lead.
Toulouse managed to score again just before the break to secure their lead. The ball bounced after a kick in the final half and Ulberg was on hand to score, before a conversion from Shorrocks made it 14-12.
TO extended their lead to 20-12 seven minutes into the second half when forward Lambert Belmas proved too strong for three Sheffield defenders as he forced his way to score from close range.
Paul Ulberg completed his hat-trick just before the hour mark when he picked up a ball turned left to score another try of the night. Shorrocks’ touchline conversion was successful for 26-12.
Toulouse scored an additional try late in the game through Olly Ashall-Bott who touched down under the posts after a quick attack from Toulouse, which completed the victory for Toulouse and allowed them to return to winning ways with a 32-12 victory.
