To mark the Bastille Day holiday, the Haute-Garonne prefecture organized a parade of foot and motorized troops on Rue Ozenne in Toulouse.

The foot troops included the Gendarmerie, the 14th Infantry and Parachute Logistics Support Regiment, the 1st Parachute Train Regiment, the 3rd Equipment Regiment, the Toulouse-Tarbes-Castres Defense Base Support Group, the Joint Meteorological and Oceanographic Support Center, the French Navy, the Air Force, the Young Firefighters, the Employment Integration Establishment, and associations approved by the Civil Security Department.

Vehicles mobilized for the parade included the Gendarmerie, the 11th Parachute Brigade, the 11th Parachute Command and Signals Company, the 3rd Equipment Regiment, the 14th Parachute Infantry and Logistics Support Regiment, the 1st Parachute Train Regiment, the National Police, the Toulouse Municipal Police, the SAMU 31 (including the Mobile Decontamination Unit), the SDIS 31, and the Prison Administration.

More than 700 participants and 60 vehicles were honored during this traditional parade, applauded by the large crowd. This gathering, bringing together law enforcement, emergency services, the armed forces, elected officials, and citizens, was an opportunity to salute the commitment and dedication of all. This public holiday, July 14th, was established in 1880. This date symbolizes the victory of the French people over royalty. It commemorates two major events of the French Revolution:

*July 14, 1789: the storming of the Bastille, symbolizing the overthrow of royal absolutism.
*July 14, 1790: the Fête de la Fédération, organized by Lafayette to mark national unity.

This day, which has become an iconic tradition in France, is celebrated with fireworks, military parades, public balls, concerts, and all sorts of entertainment.
