14th Summer Crossing of Paris in Vintage Vehicles

The Crossing of Paris Estivale in vintage cars, organized by "Vincennes en Anciennes", took place on Sunday July 25, 2021, for its 14th edition.

The Crossing of Paris Estivale in vintage cars, organized by “Vincennes en Anciennes”, took place on Sunday July 25, 2021, for its 14th edition. Cars of all brands and eras left early in the morning from the Esplanade Saint Louis at the Château de Vincennes, to arrive at the Terrasse de l’Observatoire de Meudon, where a large picnic awaited them. The discovery of the course is done at the last moment, by handing out a road book, which reveals the entire route to the pilots.

This unusual procession brings together cars, motorcycles, vans, bicycles and old buses. All vehicles are over 30 years old, which is an essential condition to participate. The stages of the route of this 14th 2021 edition were to discover the famous places rich in history of the capital. A picturesque circuit to discover Place de la Nation, Place Blanche, Place Saint Georges, Place Montmartre, Place de l’Opéra, Place des Invalides, Place du Châtelet, Place Saint Michel, Place du Trocadéro , Place Vauban, Place de l’Etoile, Place de la Porte de Saint-Cloud and Place Jules Janssen in Meudon.

These beautiful cars are the admiration of the Parisian public who discovers them all along the road. The highway code is respected on the passage of these crews, as well as the safety instructions.

Each year participants are invited to wear a color for the occasion. During this 2021 edition of Paris Estivale en Anciennes, the representative dress code was to dress in white.

Among the many participants who are very excited to be a part of the event, it happens due to engine failures that not all cross the finish line!
