The 2019 International Festival of Culinary Photography under the sign of « daring »

Created in 2009 by Jean-Pierre JP Stephan, the IFPC is under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture.
It promotes the work of international artists plastic photographers in the field of food.
A global showcase of the culinary image, both public and professional.
For its tenth anniversary edition, it is sponsored by Romain Meder, triple Michelin-starred chef at the Alain Ducasse Plaza Athenee restaurant, Paris, who has designed a « palace » cuisine based on the trilogy of fish, cereals and vegetables.
The theme chosen this year allows all « daring ».
Amazing, strange, innovative, poetic, humoristic photos. A great creativity coupled with an outstanding talent.
A first exhibition of a selection of photos was first held at the Salon de la Photo in Paris.
All the photos of the official competition were then presented to the Mayor of the 5th arrondissement of Paris from 19 to 30 November. 25 photographers, 3 photos for each of them.
Evocative titles, « The flambeur, » Narcissus « or » Cyrano « , cosmic, » The gravitation of Newton « and » The Milky Way « , scholars » citrus senensis « , fun, » Pose Café « or » Carrot Belle Hélène « , allusions and illusions … « Lighthouse » next to « The iceberg » Sometimes a simple triptych « spicy – acid – sweet ». And even « boogie » and « flamenco » … So we dance …

The awarding of the « Golden Lentils » 2019, trophies of the 6 prizes of the official competition, will take place on November 28 in the salons of the Ministry of Culture.
