On Saturday, Toulouse Olympique beat Bradford in the Championship semi-final (38-20).
Odd years follow one another and are similar for the Olympic Toulouse. In October 2021 at this same stage of the last four, the Olympians served at Batley (51-12). Saturday at the very beginning of the evening on their favorite grass of Ernest-Wallon, Captain Hansen’s men brilliantly got the better of Bradford (38-20) and validated their ticket for the final. The difference on the scoreboard is very flattering (+18) as is the sacrosanct content as the Toulouse copy is clean and without erasure.
This season, Sylvain Houlès’ men finished second in the regular phase.
If Olympic Toulouse once again joins the Super League, it will find another French club: the Dragons Catalans. They also have the opportunity to make history.
Sylvain Houlès’ players did not miss their meeting, winning 38 to 20 against the English thanks to 7 tries, including a double from Benjamin Laguerre.
Paul Marcon’s partners will face next Sunday in the final the winner of the other semi-final between Featherstone, first this season and the London Broncos, with the ambition of repeating their performance, and being crowned as in 2021.
