Paris – Samaritaine: Pechoin Unveils “The Art of Time” and Showcases its Latest Skincare Creations

Pechoin, China’s iconic skincare brand, showcases its exclusive collections in Paris during a special exhibition at Samaritaine. 

An iconic skincare brand and pioneer of the Chinese beauty market since 1931, Pechoin presented its universe on September 14, 2025, in Paris, with a temporary exhibition entitled “The Art of Time – The Contemporary Expression of Oriental Aesthetics”, hosted at Voyage Samaritaine.

Guided by the philosophy of botanical wisdom, the brand has been blending traditional herbal remedies with modern science for nearly a century, offering skincare solutions that are both gentle and effective.

The Paris exhibition highlights three design lines that embody the encounter between oriental craftsmanship and contemporary creativity, offering a vision of timeless beauty constantly reinvented.

At the heart of the presentation, the Lingyu collection, created in collaboration with the Imperial Palace, draws inspiration from the Cong jade and the moral values it symbolizes in Chinese culture: purity, nobility, and elegance. Jade is delicately combined with finely engraved copper, bringing a modern touch to an ancestral heritage.

The collaboration with the Forbidden City pays tribute to the artistic refinement of the imperial court. The gift box, inspired by an ancient embroidered fabric, unfolds into a floral décor where birds and butterflies come to life against a moon-blue background, a shade emblematic of Chinese tradition.

Meanwhile, the blue-and-white porcelain collection reinterprets a millennia-old craft through a contemporary approach. Crafted from recycled ceramics from Jingdezhen, each piece is reborn after 39 artisan steps and firing at 1,300 °C. Its delicate ornaments — flowers and birds — celebrate the purity of nature and embody Pechoin’s essence: refinement, serenity, and harmony between tradition and modernity.

Designed as a true sensory immersion, the exhibition brings oriental cultural symbols into dialogue with the Parisian art scene. Staying true to its vision, Pechoin reaffirms its ambition to merge cultural depth with technological innovation in the world of skincare.

With this first major Paris showcase, the brand confirms its ambition to expand internationally, especially in Europe, and to establish itself as a key player in the global cosmetics industry, where tradition and innovation continually reinvent the codes of beauty.
