Parisian Art of Living Book Prize 2023

This Monday, June 12, the 4th edition of the Parisian Art of Living Book Prize and the Fouquet's Trophy presents its selection of works in the running.

This Monday, June 12, the 4th edition of the Parisian Art of Living Book Prize and the Fouquet’s Trophy presents its selection of works in the running.

Created in 2018, the Prix du Livre de l’Art de Vivre Parisien rewards a book highlighting the Parisian art of living in all its forms: luxury, fashion, decoration, hospitality, architecture, etc. An unprecedented distinction created to enhance the cultural heritage of Paris and highlight the dynamism of creation existing in the heart of the capital. The Fouquet’s Trophy was created in 2022, the second edition took place today.

Seven authors were selected

Mathyeu Le Bal, Montparnasse: When Paris lit up the world (Albin Michel)

François Cérésa, Selfish dictionary of French panache (Cherche-Midi)

Gérard Chambre, Pierre Cardin, so many things not to say (Whimsical)

Denis Cosnard, The Paris of Georges Perec – Life a User’s Manual (Parigramme)

François-Régis Gaudry, Charles Patin O’Coohoon and Stéphane Solier, We’re going to taste Paris (Marabout)

Alexandra Golovanoff, The Taste, the Taste, the Taste (Presses de la Cité)

Gérard Letailleur, If Montmartre and the Bonne Franquette were told to us (Trianon)

Among all these authors embodying Paris, four were rewarded by the jury.

The grand prize was awarded to François Cérésa, Selfish Dictionary of French Panache (Cherche-Midi), – Prize for the Parisian Art of Living Book.

The second prize is in the second edition and was awarded to François-Régis Gaudry – We will taste Paris (Marabout), – Trophée du Fouquet’s.

The third prize offered by the town hall of the 8th arrondissement, was won by Mathyeu Le Bal – Montparnasse, when Paris lit up the world (Albin Michel).

The fourth prize was awarded by Cocktail & Culture to Audrey de Montgolfier – Sir Richard Wallace (Mansart Foundation).

Among the fifty authors present at the event and who sold books and autographed, we find: Stéphanie de Horts, Jean des Cars, Christine Goguet, Babette de Rozières, Patrick Chesnais, Anny Duperey, Pierre Cardin, Romain Sardou, Eric Naulleau, etc.
