“Fatal”, the word challenges … It means that must inevitably happen, fixed in advance by fate … but also fatal, unfortunate, harmful, cursed.
Alone on stage, Etcha brings back to life this “homme fatal” with whom she has fallen madly in love.
A seducer-predator-manipulator.
Etcha, through her own staging and choreography, dances, with a powerful truth and intensity, the torments that agitate her character, evoking both moments of sensuality and excitement and the pain of unfulfilled promises.
And, little by little, guilt, a formidable moral emotion, creeps into the soul.
Tortured, prey to tragic suffering, the woman does not yet realize that she has fallen into a toxic relationship that threatens to destroy her.
Years pass, until the day she discovers an article on “Narcissistic Perversion”.
She then understands “the hold”, the relationship of domination and mistreatment, the devaluation alternating with signs of affection which, insidiously, makes vulnerable.
The titanic fight of a courageous woman who will succeed, in violence, in regaining her psychological integrity.
A choreographic show written and directed by Etcha Dvornik which was performed from June 29 to July 21, 2024 at the Festival Off d’Avignon at the Théâtre de la tache d’Encre.
