This Thursday, April 15, in the program ‘Besoin des artistes’ on ArtsMada radio, the choreographer KRISS FIRMIN was invited by the hosts Eric Durand and Frédéric Julien Bonheur, to present his book.
Kriss Firmin, is one of those people fortunate enough to be trained by Broadway teachers. After dancing for musicals he moved to Paris. Teacher and choreographer, he works for television shows, the production of music videos, and cabaret reviews.
But her dream of writing a book about her life, career, friends, and the world of dance, choreography and directing around the world has come true. Putting on shows, spotting talents, opening her heart, her soul, through the beauty of movement, all of this has been made possible for her thanks to dance.
Kriss Firmin, publishes her first book as a representative of a discipline forgotten during this pandemic… that of dance.
“I started out with classical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, tap dancing. I remember my first modern jazz lesson… ”.
He chronicles his passion for dance, his history since the beginning of his career, the different styles, those he learned and those he teaches today in schools in Paris and around the world.
In France and around the world, we will particularly remember the programs of Gérard Louvin (“Sacred evening”, “The tube years”), but also “Hit Machine” and some “Exceptional” by Michel Drucker.
Kriss has rubbed shoulders in his career: Charles Aznavour, Jimmy Cliff, Paris Hilton, Gloria Gaynor, Lova Moore, Larusso, Ricky Martin, Henriqués Iglesias, Jean Luc Lahaye… his shows, shows, musical events.
In the 218 pages you will discover his life, the dances of today, his teaching and his pedagogy, the great artists who inspired him and the photos of the celebrities accompanied in their careers.
