Hermès unveiled a Spring/Summer 2026 collection of lightweight pieces for those spending the summer in the city, on Saturday, the penultimate day of Paris Men’s Fashion Week.

It was in the lair of the Palais d’Iéna, in the 16th arrondissement of the capital, that Véronique Nichanian chose to unveil the silhouettes of her new Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

For the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, the Hermès man plays with wardrobe classics with precision. The jackets seem as light as air, as do the airy shirts worn over T-shirts.

The colors, true to the house’s DNA, feature caramel, coffee, vanilla, mint, and burgundy tones. The jackets « are neither quite jackets nor quite windbreakers, » the press release states.

The suit pants are cut loose to ensure no restriction of movement, while the leather pants and jacket appear immaterial. These pieces feature a material rarely associated with the summer season, and yet the designer masters it with finesse. This is evidenced by the checkered shirts in openwork and woven leather, also available on oversized pants and in a few bold shoulder constructions.

It’s no surprise that the decor blurs the lines: the installation is a clever way to introduce the theme of the 2026 collection: summer in the city.

To accentuate this summery nonchalance, the step is lightened by flip-flops made from a minimalist line of leather, punctuating the long strides.

The color palette reflects this deceptive simplicity, meticulously avoiding black to instead offer variations of mineral tones. The lightness of the summer season dictates that the colors burst forth in vivid bursts reminiscent of sorbets: vanilla, ice cube, mint green. All that’s left is to choose your taste for an elegant solstice.
