Paris is ready to sparkle once again. On November 16, 2025, the city will launch the Champs-Élysées Christmas Lights, marking the start of the holiday season with a dazzling and emotional celebration. This year’s edition promises to be truly exceptional — featuring a brand-new sound and light show, a prestigious godmother, Léa Seydoux, and two children from the Petits Princes Association, who will help light up the world’s most beautiful avenue.
Léa Seydoux, a Radiant Godmother for 2025
An icon of French and international cinema, Léa Seydoux perfectly embodies the elegance and creative spirit of Paris. Winner of the Palme d’Or for Blue Is the Warmest Color, she is also known for her roles in Spectre and No Time to Die as a James Bond girl, and for her work with acclaimed directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Bertrand Bonello, and David Cronenberg.
“Sharing this magical moment with Paris, the city of my heart, where I was born, is a great honor,” she said.
This year, under Léa Seydoux’s luminous presence, the Champs-Élysées will once again celebrate the timeless union of tradition, innovation, and solidarity that defines the spirit of the French capital.
Two Children Fulfilling Their Dream
A deeply touching highlight of the evening: two children from the Petits Princes Association will have the honor of pressing the button that illuminates the Champs-Élysées, alongside Léa Seydoux.
Sacha, aged 6 and from Toulouse, has long dreamed of visiting Paris after learning the song Aux Champs-Élysées at school. Passionate about electricity and light, he will experience the thrill of bringing the city’s glow to life himself.
Beside him, Marine, 17, from Charente, has been battling illness since early childhood. Her love of dance, music, and sparkle gives her strength, and being part of this magical Parisian event fills her with joy and hope.
Thanks to the collaboration between the Champs-Élysées Committee and the Petits Princes Association, the lights of Paris will shine even brighter — with meaning and heart.
A Breathtaking “Sound and Light” Show
Under the artistic direction of Thierry Reboul, creator of the Paris 2024 Olympic ceremonies, this year’s illuminations are more innovative than ever.
The 430,000 luminous pixels adorning the avenue will be synchronized to a score by Victor Le Masne, while Thomas Dechandon, Molière Award winner for lighting design (Starmania), will transform the Champs-Élysées into a vast ocean of shimmering colors.
Each evening from 5:00 p.m. to midnight (until 1:00 a.m. on weekends), visitors will be treated to a dazzling dance of lights echoing the sparkle of the Eiffel Tower.
A Special Guest: Charlotte Cardin in Concert
Before the official lighting ceremony, Canadian singer Charlotte Cardin, the current Star Academy godmother, will perform a live concert on the avenue. She will premiere her new single Tant pis pour elle, following the phenomenal success of Feel Good — the most-played French-language song of 2025.
A Celebration of Crystal and Solidarity
This year’s festivities are presented in partnership with Swarovski, celebrating its 130th anniversary. The brand will unveil a dazzling pop-up store near the Arc de Triomphe and lend its signature sparkle to the event.
Longtime partner Blachère Illumination has designed a groundbreaking and eco-friendly lighting system that makes this edition both spectacular and sustainable.
Beyond the glamour, the event also stands as a symbol of generosity and unity, supported by the Champs-Élysées Committee and the City of Paris, blending art, technology, and compassion.
A Night of Light, Hope, and Parisian Magic
Under the radiant gaze of Léa Seydoux, Sacha, Marine, and thousands of spectators, the Champs-Élysées will burst into light and emotion.
More than ever, this celebration reminds the world that Paris remains the City of Light — and of dreams shared by all.
