During this ceremony, the names of the 19 French soldiers who have died for a year were recalled. On November 11, 1920, the coffin of the Unknown Soldier, whose remains remain unidentified, was received with great pomp under the Arc, where it will be buried two months later. Since November 11, 1923, the flame of his tomb has been rekindled every evening.
